For many students, education is a pathway to dreams. For some, it is their only pathway to survival, dignity, and independence. Across India, there are countless young minds who carry extraordinary determination. Students who study despite physical challenges, students who grow up without parental support, and students who come from families where basic survival itself is a daily struggle. Their dreams are strong — but their journeys are often lonely and filled with barriers they did not choose. This is where Deepstambh Foundation becomes a guiding light. Recognised as India’s first inclusive initiative, Deepstambh believes that ability is not defined by circumstances. Through its Manobal project, the foundation provides residential facilities for students with disabilities, orphaned backgrounds, and underprivileged communities who aspire to pursue competitive exam coaching and higher education. Here, students find more than just classrooms. They find a home where they are accepted, supported, and encouraged to believe in themselves. With the collective support of society, 600 students are currently building their futures at Deepstambh centres in Jalgaon, Pune, and Delhi. Many of these students are first-generation learners who carry the hopes of their families and communities. At Deepstambh, they receive academic mentorship, life skills, emotional support, and a safe environment that allows them to focus fully on their education and personal growth. Today, we are raising ₹10,00,000 to support the residential expenses of students at the Pune and Delhi Manobal centres. These funds will help provide essential support such as accommodation, nutritious meals, coaching, technology training, and other recurring educational and living expenses. For these students, this support means more than financial help. It means the freedom to learn without worrying about their next meal. It means studying without the fear of losing shelter. It means having someone believe that their dreams are valid. Every contribution helps these students move one step closer to self-reliance and a life of dignity.
