What if education did more than prepare a child for an exam? What if it prepared them for life? Yugantar is our vision to build a residential learning ecosystem in Karjat for 1000+ underprivileged children, where education goes beyond classrooms, textbooks and marks. We want to create a place where children get access to the opportunities they may otherwise never receive — quality education, technology, sports, art, nutrition, mentors, exposure and a safe environment that allows them to dream bigger. At Yugantar, learning will not stop at academics. Children will also learn: * AI, technology and future skills * Emotional intelligence and self-awareness * Sports, fitness and nutrition * Music, theatre, dance and creative arts * Communication and leadership * Financial literacy and entrepreneurship * Sustainability, farming and environmental responsibility * Practical life skills * Problem solving and independent thinking The idea is simple: Children should not only be taught what to learn. They should be taught how to think, how to create, how to communicate, how to fail and try again, and how to become independent human beings. The Yugantar campus is envisioned as more than a school. It will be a living and learning ecosystem with residential facilities, open classrooms, sports grounds, libraries, AI and makers’ labs, farms, skill-development spaces, performing arts areas, a media studio, community spaces and environments designed for children to learn through experience. We want children to build things with their hands. Grow food. Play sports. Understand technology. Perform on stage. Learn how money works. Create businesses. Tell stories. Serve communities. Ask difficult questions. And discover what they are truly capable of. Why Yugantar? A child’s potential is not defined by where they are born. But access often is. Many children grow up without exposure to technology, mentors, sports infrastructure, creative education or opportunities that help them discover their abilities. We want Yugantar to bridge that gap. Our belief is simple: A child’s future should never be decided by the circumstances they were born into. Every child deserves the chance to learn, explore and build a life of their own choosing. Our Fundraising Goal: ₹5 Crore We are raising ₹5,00,00,000 to help bring the first phase of Yugantar to life. The funds raised will go towards developing essential infrastructure and creating the learning environment required for the Gurukul, including: * Residential and hostel facilities * Classrooms and learning spaces * AI and technology labs * Makers’ and skill-development spaces * Sports infrastructure * Libraries and learning resources * Performing arts and creative spaces * Kitchen, dining and nutrition facilities * Farming and sustainability infrastructure * Furniture, equipment and student resources * Safety and basic campus infrastructure * Scholarships and support for children This is an ambitious dream, and we know it cannot be built by one person.
